Tim Hindes looks forward to 2016
Welcome to Issue #1 of the Stay Metrics newsletter. Its purpose is to provide a quick update of the happenings at Stay Metrics, with our client carriers, and within the trucking industry. We hope you find it interesting and informative and look forward to seeing it in your inbox.
It is our privilege to be in one of the best seats in the house when it comes to having a first-hand glimpse of the trends, challenges and solutions surrounding driver retention and engagement. My team and I want to share what we are learning with you. As you will see in this issue and the others that follow, there is a lot going on; new research studies, new findings, new strategies, new carriers joining our communities and sub-communities, new staff members to serve you and your team, and new ways to engage with us.
A brief review of 2015
Wow – What a breakout year! We owe so much to our clients, partners, advisors and friends. A big THANK YOU is in order. With your help we doubled our carrier count; our driver count nearly tripled. Each time we add carriers and drivers your survey reports – including the data analyses and comparisons – grow stronger. Though we had some growing pains, our team stepped up and performed. Even though the “kitchen got a bit messy at times,” we still put out a great meal for our clients.
I am proud of the team we have assembled. Their dedication to helping you improve driver satisfaction means we exchange more than a few late night and early morning emails. They are passionate about sharing ideas that will help you improve driver retention, and enthusiastically make suggestions about how to we can improve our operations to better serve you.
Kurt Ladow, Stay Metrics’ Co-Founder/Chief Operating Officer, and I are committed to creating a positive workplace culture and being an employer of choice. We are humbled by the talents of our team and we are grateful they choose us. (You can see our team in action via our Facebook posts on for “Friday Fun Days.”)
A quick look forward to 2016
We worked hard this year to stay ahead of our growth curve. Our plans for 2016 are to make investments that will further benefit you and your team. We will invest in technology and make improvements to our reporting software. We will focus on driver engagement with the rewards program, and add additional safety and wellness training. We will enhance our rewards platform, identify additional research partners, and communicate better with our clients and the trucking industry. Our Stay Metrics team will grow, and we will add office space at Innovation Park at Notre Dame – a great business partner.
Please keep an eye out in early Q2 for our first-ever Client Satisfaction Survey. We look forward to your feedback. Taking a dose of our own medicine, we are interested in what we are doing well, what needs improvement; what we should start doing and what we should stop. We appreciate, in advance, your taking the time to complete it.
I will end with a special note of thanks to our customers, for your belief in and support of our programs. I am forever grateful for your early and continued support of the vision we had in 2012. We remain a company focused on improving the work-life experience of truck drivers while at the same time improving driver retention for carriers who use our platform. As our research continues to show, “It’s working.” Keep up the good work!
Blessings of health, happiness and prosperity in the New Year!
